In a recent update on the RESAP/Commitment to Zero Contacts (CtZ) Phase 2 program, significant progress has been reported. The year 2024 has been highlighted as a milestone for the completion of the first round of CtZ Phase 2.
One participant in the program expressed their positive experience, stating, "It has been amazing to be in those 18 closed door sessions talking about things openly and honestly with your line personnel." The emphasis was on fostering open communication, trust, and transparency within the cooperative environment. The dedication of lineworkers to actively engage in the program was also acknowledged, with the statement, "Your lineworkers are to be commended for the manner in which they have participated in this amazing program."
The integration of CtZ with RESAP was identified as a key factor contributing to the success of the program. By aligning CtZ at the beginning of RESAP, discussions were able to address essential safety practices, ensuring a comprehensive approach to safety within the cooperatives. Looking ahead to 2025, plans are in place to engage with various committees and groups to strategize the best path forward. As mentioned, "We will be having discussions with the safety curriculum subcommittee, the ST&LP committee, and the national working group (RESAP area administrators) on ideas for the best path moving forward."
