The ST&LP Department organized the 2025 Quad States Instructors Summer Conference from June 17-19, 2025. The event took place at the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center on Tuesday and Thursday, while Wednesday's activities were held at COLT Field, featuring a vendor showcase.
Doug Miller inaugurated the conference. The speakers included Matt Edmonds of SET Solutions, Mike Starner of NECA, Derek Sang of Bulwark, Bud Branham retired from NRECA, Ken Macken of NRECA, Corey Parr of Federated, and Kym Bancroft of New View Safety. Tuesday's session featured a game titled "Safety Jeopardy: Are You Smarter than an Apprentice?" On Thursday, participants engaged in "Safety Jeopardy CUSP Version."
Wednesday was notable for its special stations operated by COLT instructors and the display of the Altec training simulator. Around 77 safety instructors from across the United States attended the conference, with a significant presence from Ohio. Platinum vendors present included American FR & Safety, Tallman Equipment Co., Altec, Milwaukee, and Bulwark.
