January marks a time for new resolutions, and Pennsylvania residents are encouraged to consider managing their energy bills as part of their goals for 2025. A range of resources, programs, and tools are available to assist in this endeavor.

Since May 2024, credit card and debit card transactions have been processed through the third-party electronic payment vendor ACI Speedpay. Additionally, Venmo and PayPal have been added as payment options. As of January, bank account (ACH) payments are also processed through ACI. Customers who use automatic payments via bank draft have been transitioned into the AutoPay Bank Account program. Importantly, service fees for bill payments have been eliminated regardless of the payment method chosen.

The "My Account" platform offers various features including viewing account balances, signing up for eBill, checking payment history, making secure payments, receiving energy-saving tips, enrolling in assistance programs, managing electric service requests, signing up for alerts about bills or outages, and more.

The Home Energy Analyzer provides personalized strategies to optimize energy usage based on household data. This tool is accessible after signing up for My Account and answering a few questions.

Budget billing options such as the Equal Payment Plan (EPP) and Average Payment Plan (APP) help customers manage their annual costs by spreading them evenly across all months. These plans aim to stabilize bills during periods of high energy use.

For those needing financial assistance with their electric bills due to various circumstances, several income-based assistance programs are available. These programs can help manage seasonal bills or past-due balances and prevent disconnection.

More information on these initiatives can be found through the respective platforms and customer support channels.
