Columbia Gas of Ohio has named Ashley Weaver as Vice President of Gas Operations, commencing her role on March 1, 2025. This move aligns with NiSource’s commitment to enhance customer service and ensure safety for employees, customers, and communities in Ohio.
William Mojica, Senior Vice President of Gas Operations with NiSource, expressed confidence in Weaver’s leadership, stating, “I am confident in Ashley’s leadership as we continue focusing on safety and building additional rigor and layers of protection for our employees, customers and the communities we serve.”
Weaver’s association with NiSource began in 2023 when she joined as Vice President of Gas Distribution and Construction. Before joining NiSource, she spent 17 years at American Electric Power (AEP), where she took on various leadership roles and managed the company’s transformation within a shifting business environment.
Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Miami University of Ohio and a master’s degree in business administration from The Ohio State University.
